Bolivia: La Paz

Zuerst mal einige Fakten: La Paz, die hoechste Hauptstadt mit dem hoechsten Flughafen der Welt, aber auch dem hoechsten Abgasanteil. Nicht nur wegen der Hoehenluft viel einem das Atmen schwer. Ueberall gibt es Maerkte, ungefaehr zehnmal so viele Anbieter wie Kaeufer, deshalb auch ueberall Marktschreier, die "empresa" machen. Aber La Paz offenbarte uns hauptsaechlich seine negative Seite. Die gestohlene Kamera und der Krankenhausaufenthalt (Obi) gehoerten nicht gerade zu den Hoehepunkten unserer Reise. Sylvester war dagegen ends gechillt!!! Die Feier war auf einem Dach, mit Sicht ueber die ganze Stadt, die wie ein Kessel angeordnet ist. Ueberall Lichter und Feuerwerke, so dass die Stadt wie ein beleuchtetes Stadion aussah. Fotos existieren leider nicht mehr.

First a few facts: La Paz, the highest capital with the highest airport in the world. But also the highest air pollution by cars. It wasn´t only the altitude which made breathing difficult. Everywhere you could see markets. Ten times as many people who sell things, than people who buy them. But we also saw the negative side of La Paz: the stolen camara and obi´s day in hospital aren´t really highlights of our trip. But the New Year´s party was great!!! We were on the roof of a house and were surrounded by lights and fireworks. Unfortunately we don´t have photos anymore.

Primera vez unas factas: La Paz, el altissimo capital con el altissimo aeropuerto del mundo, pero tambien muchissima contaminacion del aire. Respirando es muy dificil no solo a causa de altitudo. Por todas partes hay puestos en el mercado, diez veces mas que personas que comprarlo. Pero tambien nosotros visto el lado negativo de La Paz: el camera robada y el dia en el hospital (obi) no son puntos culminantes de nuestro viaje. Pero el fin del año ha estado maravilloso: Por todas partes luzes y muchos fuegos artificiales!!! Desgraciadamente ya no hay fotos.
