Ein ueberdimensionaler See auf 3800m Hoehe: so was haben noch nie gesehen!!! In Copacabana auf bolivianischer Seite sind wir auf den Cerro Calvario, den heiligen Berg, gestiegen, von dem aus man einen tollen Ausblick auf den See hatte, wie auch bei unserem Ausflug auf die isla del sol. Dort haben wir auch etwas weniger beeindruckende Ruinen gesehen. 
Dieser See ist einfach so unvorstellbar gross, dass man ihn das Meer der Anden nennen kann. Auf peruanischer Seite machten wir kurz Halt in Puno, um die Islas Flotantes anzuschauen: Inseln komplett aus Schilf auf denen sogar Menschen wohnen, die hauptsaechlich Schilfgrass und Fisch essen: krasser Scheiss!!! Alles in allem eine umwerfende Natur!!!
A great lake, 3800 meters high. We´ve never seen anything like that. At Copacabana at the bolivian side of the lake we went on the Cerro Calvario, the holy mountain. From here we had a great view on the lake, like at our daytrip to the isla del sol.
We also saw some not so impressive ruins there. you won´t believe how huge this lake is!!!

Taking everything into consideration: a beautiful nature!!!
Un lago gigantesco en 3800 metros altura. Algo como este no hemos visto antes. En Copacabana en el lado boliviano del lago hemos andado sobre el Cerro Calvario. Alli se ha haber una buena vista, como a nuestra excursion a isla del sol. Las Ruinas sobre isla del sol no son muy impressionado. Este lago es inimaginable grande. 
En el lado peruano hemos visitado las islas flotantes en puno: islas completamente hecho de caña, donde gente viven. Todo en todo: una naturaleza milagrosa!!!
