Salar de Uyuni-Bolivia

Die fahrt nach Uyuni war der Horror: der engste Bus der Welt auf ungeteerten Schotterpisten, aber es hat sich gelohnt! Am ersten Tag unserer dreitaegigenExkursion im Jeep besuchten wir die Salzwuesten von Uyuni. Eine 10m dicke Salzschicht ueber einem riesigen Salzsee. Soweit das Auge reicht nur weiss, schaut aus wie Schnee, es ist aber viel waermer. In der Mitte sind Islas pescados, Inseln mit meterhohen Kakteen und ein Hotel komplett aus Salz!! Am naechsten Tag klapperten wir einige Lagunen ab. In jeder Lagune waren hunderte von Flamingos. Minerallagunen in den unterschiedlichsten Farben ( rot, gruen und bunt) und eine Schwefellagune: eine wahre Augenweide!!! Der Abend war feuchtfroehlich. Es wurde eine Menge Rum mit dem Fahrer vernichtet, der drei Stunden spaeter fahren musste. Am letzten Tag mussten wir saufrueh raus und unsere Sachen packen und das ohne Licht und bei Minusgraden. Obwohl wir 2 Hosen, 2 Pullis und eine Jacke anhatten, war uns immernoch kalt. Aber wir haben Geysire und einen Vulkankrater besucht und konnten uns dann endlich in den heissen Quellen aufwaermen. Salar de Uyuni ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!!!

The busride to Uyuni was really terrible: it doesn't exist any bus with less space in the whole world but it was worth it. On the first day of our 3-day-journey in a jeep we visited the salt desert of uyuni. As far as you could see, everything was white. It looked like snow, but it was warmer. In the middle there are the islas pescadas, islands with gigantic cacteen and a hotel completely made out of salt. On the next day we went to some lagoons with hundrets of flamingos, minerallagoons with lots of different colours: impressive!! The evening was very long but funny. We drank lots of rum together with the driver, who had to ride the jeep three hours later. On the last day we had to get up real early without light and with temperatures below zero. Even though we had two pants, two pullovers and one jacket, it was still cold. But we visited geysers and a vulcano and could finally warm up in the hot springs. Salar de Uyuni was worth it!!

El viaje a Uyuni fuera horrible. No hay un omnibus con menos espacio en todo el mundo. Pero Uyuni fuera hermoso. En el dia primera de la excursion hemos visitado la salar de uyuni. 10 metros de sal sobre un lago grande. En todas directiones se pode ver un paisaje blanco: como hielo pero mas calor. En la media hay islas pescados y un hotel completamente hecho de sal. En el proxima dia hemos visitado lagunas con muchos flamingos. Lagunas de minerales con muchas diferentes colores: impressionado!! Despues la noche fuera muy divertido: hemos bebido mucho ron con el conductor que tiene que conducir el jeep 3 horas despues. El dia final ha empezado muy temprano (4 a.m.) , sin luz yu con temperaturas menos zero. Hemos visitado geysires, un vulcano y finalmente fuera possible para banarse en las aguas calientes: muy agradable!!!
